It is immensely gratifying to use my knowledge and abilities to help children, earning their trust and confidence and, even better, their smiles! As a pediatric dentist, I strive to provide an enjoyable dental experience for each child. Every one of them is unique: in their clinical and emotional needs, development, and personality. I spend time talking with each, learning about their interests and enjoying who they are.
Our conversations create a wonderful relationship, while also giving insight into how to best meet the child’s needs. That is essential, as I do my best to provide a positive, rewarding experience at each appointment. By tailoring every interaction to the child, I ensure they enjoy their time here and learn that seeing the dentist is nothing to fret about. In fact, it can be fun!
As a mother, I understand a parent’s concerns and focus on creating open communication. I never recommend a treatment or procedure I would not want for my own child and always explain my recommendations, as well as the range of options.
In working closely with parents and each child, I know we can achieve a lifetime of incredible smiles – and enthusiasm for keeping them healthy, for life!

After completing dental school, I practiced general dentistry for three years.
I then returned to school and earned my Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. This challenging program guided me through the specialized approaches required to care for children and adolescents, including those with special needs and complex medical issues.
Since completing the program, I have sought-out continuing education opportunities in order to stay current on the latest evidence-based processes. I have finished the Pediatric Sedation Course through the American Society of Dental Anesthesia and many Continuous Quality Improvement Modules through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. I also participate in the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry courses.

✦ Beyond the Office
I grew up in San Francisco and moved to Las Vegas after finishing my specialty certificate. My husband and I are glad to be raising our son here.
If I’m not seeing patients, or reading about the latest pediatric dental research, I’m usually with my family. We like going to the movies, hanging out at the dog park with our Yorkie and our Huskie, and road trips: if we’re heading out of town, we’re on our way to Disneyland!
